If you’re looking for family friendly holiday activities this November then you should check out the Henry County Performing Arts Center where local Henry County thespians will be performing their annual holiday play.

This year the Henry County Players will be performing A Christmas Story. Based on the book by Jean Shepherd, this play follows the story of 9 year-old Ralphie Parker who wants to see a genuine Red Ryder BB Gun under his Christmas Tree more than anything. The play chronicles Ralphie’s attempts to get what he wants in a humorous and playful tale that will prove enjoyable for the whole family.

The production will run from November 19-22 and then will break for Thanksgiving  before resuming performances November 28 -29. Tickets can be purchased online or at various local retailers throughout Henry County. (more…)
