Is it Really the Best Deal?

Luxury Homes in Henry CountyIs a foreclosure a better deal than a new home in this market?

Well, let’s think about this. Would you rather buy a 2004 car with 80,000 miles and no warranty for half of its value, or would you rather buy a brand new automobile with a 100,000 mile warranty and all the options you want for 75% of the original value?

Like a used car, foreclosed houses can often have hidden problems. The previous owner might not have paid much attention to the finer details in the house. These little issues can often lead to costly repairs on the part of the buyer.

Instead of going for someone else’s hand-me-downs, why not get what you really want from the start? By building new in Atlanta golf community,  Heron Bay, you’ll be able to completely customize your house. (more…)

Heron Bay Ladies Tennis TeamCongratulations to the Heron Bay Ladies Tennis Team who recently won the ALTA Atlanta City B4 Championship!

Since then several new teams have been formed, including the Ladies Team that just won.  Heron Bay also has several Men and Junior teams, making it easy for the whole family to play.  Lessons are also offered by one of the residents in the master-planned community in Henry County.

One Reason Heron Bay Stands Above the Rest

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

h-bay-trail.jpgHeron Bay Golf & Country Club stands out from other communities because of the emphasis they place on the natural beauty of the land. While building the new homes in Locust Grove, Todd Smith, Project Manager for Minerva, focused on developing the homes with the natural features of the land. He delicately balanced the many streams, waterways, special tree stands that feed the Cole Reservoir.

Todd made himself familiar with the lay of the land to make the new homes in Henry County fit in without disturbing the natural setting. The knowledge Todd gained from surveying the land allowed the opportunity to adjust roads and utilities to save features such as a large American Beech Tree. The tree is now a joy to everyone who drives along Heron Bay Boulevard. (more…)

Heron Bay Academy Accepting Pre-Enrollment

Heron Bay AcademyAtlanta is notorious for its traffic. It seems that no matter what time of day on any day of the week, a 10 mile commute will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, and, in some extreme cases, 1 hour! This in not an attractive part of our otherwise fantastic city. Spending time in bumper-to-bumper traffic can really be frustrating as we do have more important things to do with our day than battle other cars on the road. What’s even worse is that traffic is not exclusive to the interstates. How many parents spend 45 minutes driving their children to school in the mornings? Well, the wonderful people at the master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, which offers new homes in Henry County, have always gone above and beyond to make sure their residents are enjoying life to the fullest, and opening a school within the boundaries of the neighborhood is just another way that Heron Bay stands out in Atlanta real estate.
