Beale, fell during action in Afghanistan and will be returning home tomorrow, June 11, 2009. Members of the community have been asked to line the escort route as Sargeant First Class John C.  Beale’s body is escorted from Falcon Field to the Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Home by the Henry County Police Department. The expected arrival time at Falcon Field is 6:00 p.m. and the procession is expected to begin around 6:15 p.m.

The route from Falcon Field to Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Home is:

  • Dividend Drive to Highway 74
  • Highway 74 to Highway 85
  • Highway 85 to Highway 54
  • Highway 54 to McDonough Rd.
  • McDonough Road to Jonesboro Rd.
  • Jonesboro Road to McDonough Square
  • McDonough Square to Highway 42
  • Highway 42 to Brannon Road to Cannon Cleveland

The 3,600 square foot bank is located on Highway 155 at the entrance to Heron Bay Golf and Country Club at the Town Center. First National Bank of Griffin at Heron Bay will offer consumer and commercial loans, real estate mortgages, all types of deposit accounts, lobby and drive-through banking, 24-hour Automated Teller Machines and brokerage products. The Heron Bay location will provide convenient access for both Heron Bay residents and travelers along Highway 155. It’s definitely an added benefit to have the addition of this well-respected financial institution at Heron Bay, and, bear in mind that it is only one tiny aspect of the Town Center at Heron Bay.
