Heron Bay to Host Rotary Club Golf Tournament

hb-golf-3.jpgCanongate Golf Club at Heron Bay Golf and Country Club in Locust Grove will be hosting the 2008 Henry County Rotary Charity Golf Classic on August 18. According to Kerry Arnold, Rotary Secretary this event has been a major fundraiser for the organization for 10 years. In 2007, the golf tournament (also hosted by Heron Bay) raised $20,000. The Rotary Club is seeking 36 four-person teams for the event. So far, 19 teams have signed up for the tournament.

The Rotary Club organizes several projects which benefit local organizations throughout Henry County, Georgia. They are also a partner with Henry County School’s to promote adolescent development.
