Heron Bay, a premier Atlanta golf community and country club, is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive as a way to give back to the community. Visit the Heron Bay Lodge this Saturday from 10AM - 3PM in Locust Grove, just south of Atlanta.

Community Liason Committee member and resident, Diana Brown was quoted in the Henry Daily Herald, “There is a shortage of blood and there are a lot of accidents in the summertime”. She went on to say, “…It will only take a few minutes [to give blood]. By giving someone [the gift of blood], it will give them many minutes.”

The blood drive is open to the public and participants will be entered into a drawing to win a $750 gas card. To make an appointment to donate blood, visit www.givelife.org.
