A Christmas Miracle at the Henry County Performing Arts Center

papas.jpgTonight is the opening night for “Papa’s Angels, A Christmas Story.” Performed by our local Henry Players, this heartwarming tale is a story about five spunky children who create their own Christmas Miracle to save their brokenhearted father. It’s based on the novel by Collin Wilcox Patton and Gary Carden, so you may already be familiar with the story. This is the kind of performance that is perfect for the entire family, but you only have this weekend to catch it. The Henry Players will do one performance a day through Sunday, which gives you only four chances to catch this sweet Christmas story. This play is an exceptional way to get you into the holiday spirit in time for Thanksgiving. Tickets can no longer be purchased online, but you can get them around Henry County at local vendors. There doesn’t seem to be a better weekend activity for the family than “Papa’s Angels, A Christmas Story.” Henry County is pretty lucky to have their own community theater group – it’s just one more thing that sets our Southern county apart from the others.
