The Town Center at Heron Bay has a new addition that is something the entire family can benefit from – a hair salon. C Changes Hair Studio is  a full services salon that features a family atmosphere and specializes in haircuts for clients of all ages. The studio opened for business on September 1st, so it’s very possible that some of your neighbors have already been there. The Urgent Care Clinic at Heron Bay is a great way to see a Doctor quickly and conveniently without an appointment. Now the clinic offers Sports Physicals which are required by schools in order for your chidren to play on an athletic team. All you need to do is bring your child’s immunization records (or have them faxed over), and you can have the required forms allowing your child to participate in sports just by making one quick stop on your way home! Bay Pharmacy, the new pharmacy opening at Town Center at Heron Bay was recently in the Henry Daily Herald, “Full-time pharmacy comes to Heron Bay.”

Residents at Locust Grove’s Heron Bay will soon have the convenience of a pharmacy in the neighborhood, in addition to the many other amenities of this golf course community just 40 minutes south of Atlanta. The article includes an interview from one Heron Bay recent that is very excited to have a pharmacy so close to home. “I think it [the pharmacy] will be a great asset, we won’t have to drive a distance to get the immediate care that we need,” said 60-year-old Grace Blount, a two-and-a-half-year resident of the Heron Bay community. Bay Pharmacy at Heron Bay Golf and Country Club’s retail village, Town Center at Heron Bay, will open later this month. Bay Pharmacy, adjacent to Spalding Regional Urgent Care in Henry County, is a full service 2,400 square foot pharmacy with drive-through. Bay Pharmacy will offer traditional prescription, durable medical equipment, doctor and compounding services and sell health and beauty products, gifts, snacks and candy, greeting cards, herbs and homeopathic medicines.

The staff will bring a combined 58 years of local experience to the pharmacy. To best serve the health needs of its customers, the pharmacy will offer free delivery within a limited radius. Plans are underway by the pharmacist to offer regular, free health seminars to residents of Heron Bay and surround communities.
