Weight Watchers Members Experience at Goblin Gallop

Weight Watchers Team

Among the 300 participants that gathered at master planned community, Heron Bay Golf & Country Club for the most successful Goblin Gallop was a group of around 50 individuals from Henry County Weight Watchers groups.

One local woman and lifetime Weight Watchers member Toni Coryell, motivated and organized the group to participate in the 2009 Goblin Gallop. Toni made it a personal goal to involve herself in the Goblin Gallop back in 2007. Then in 2008 she challenged 25 Weight Watchers members to take part in the 6K This year the participation of Weight Watchers Team doubled.

“It is becoming an annual thing for me personally,” said Toni Coryell. “Not just to participate in it myself, but to encourage others who thought they could NEVER finish a 6K to make that first step. The 6Ks are a great way for members to set those short term, achievable, activity goals and that activity shows up on the scale!  Plus it’s a great way to get involved with your community.  We are shooting for doubling the number of participants yet again at next year’s Goblin Gallop!”

Weight Watchers has many different meetings in McDonough, Locust Grove and Griffin.  Visit www.weightwatchers.com to “find a meeting” that will work for you as well as information on our Monthly Pass.
