Heron Bay Golf & Country Club would like to welcome the newest inductees to our four resident volunteer community committees. Elected by the Community Association, these committees are designed to better both Heron Bay and the Heron Bay Community Association by allowing the Association to have their eyes and years to the ground. This allows homeowners the opportunity to enjoy positive growth while maintaining property values.

The Positive Standard’s Committee supports the covenants and guidelines within the Heron Bay community. This group helps fuel positive growth by providing a high level of communication within the community and offering educational community tools.

The Safety/Pool Committee works to ensure community safety throughout Heron Bay including the three aquatic center pools, Lakefront Park, sports field and tennis courts. This committee investigates and recommends new policies and procedures to the Board of Directors and Management that pertain to safety and security.

Perhaps the most fun committee is the Social Activities Committee. This group works closely with the Community Association to plan events throughout the year including the Annual Holiday Party, Community Pool Parties, Dive-in Movies and most recently the semi-annual Community Wide Garage Sale.

The final Heron Bay resident committee is the Community Liaison Committee. This group supports the other three committees and can address all issues and general neighborhood questions and concerns due to their extensive knowledge about the community and the committees.

These committees are just a small, but important, part of what makes Heron Bay Golf & Country Club one of the top master-planned communities in the greater Atlanta area.
