As you and your family enjoy Henry County Parks for leisure activities, bring along your camera and take pictures. After you develop the pictures you can submit them to the Henry County Parks & Recreation Annual Photography Contest for the opportunity to win some great prizes. Categories for this year’s contest are Sports and Action, Nature and Wildlife, On Location and General (anything else). Photograph format options include Color Print, Black and White, and Digital. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention for each category. A complete set of rules can be found here. The deadline for submissions is October 16, 2009. To submit your photos mail them to Kathy Hunt at 10 Cleveland Street, Locust Grove, GA 30248 or drop them off at one of the following HCPRD locations: Recreation Office, J.P. Moseley Recreation Center and Locust Grove Recreation Center. Digital photos may be emailed to khunt@co.henry.ga.us.
