Heron Bay, which is a rare find in the Atlanta area due to the fact that the master-planned development goes above and beyond to make its residents feel a sense of community, has commenced a summer of fun with the success of the annual Jazz by the Pool event. Sharon Rae North performed from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 with her band on the veranda on the pool deck. Heron Bay families were able to bring picnics, chairs and blankets and enjoy a night of fantastic jazz music while mingling with their neighbors. This Atlanta golf community hosts events like this one on a regular basis to ensure that not one of its residents is a stranger in the community.

Being a master-planned development, Heron Bay has a large number of homes and residents, and getting the residents of these Henry County homes together to enjoy a beautiful summer evening helps make the neighborhood seem a little smaller. Also, kids get to meet other kids in the community, and fantastic new friendships begin.
