Heron Bay Residents Getting Down TonightLast weekend Heron Bay Golf & Country Club hosted a 70’s Disco Party for their residents, and it was a huge success. The lodge was retro-decorated with bright colored table cloths and vintage records scattered along the walls. Those in attendance danced the night away, doing the hustle under a spinning disco ball to the biggest hits of the 1970’s. Little Momma’s Helper catered the soirée with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and there was a cash bar for the residents to enjoy.A total of $240 was given away in prizes; prizes went to the best 70’s outfit, to the best 70’s Hair and to the best male and female dancers. Heron Bay really knows how to treat its residents to a good time, and through inventive parties like this one, residents are able to unwind, let loose and get to know each other better.  Having an activities director to plan community events is only one of many perks to living in this extraordinary community. It’s events like these that really make Heron Bay stand out among other Atlanta golf communities because they go above and beyond to make sure residents are happy with their new home, community and neighbors. Heron Bay Academy Accepting Pre-Enrollment

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Heron Bay AcademyAtlanta is notorious for its traffic. It seems that no matter what time of day on any day of the week, a 10 mile commute will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, and, in some extreme cases, 1 hour! This in not an attractive part of our otherwise fantastic city. Spending time in bumper-to-bumper traffic can really be frustrating as we do have more important things to do with our day than battle other cars on the road. What’s even worse is that traffic is not exclusive to the interstates. How many parents spend 45 minutes driving their children to school in the mornings? Well, the wonderful people at the master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, which offers new homes in Henry County, have always gone above and beyond to make sure their residents are enjoying life to the fullest, and opening a school within the boundaries of the neighborhood is just another way that Heron Bay stands out in Atlanta real estate.
